The maximum award for Micro Grants is $100 per grant. The deadline for the Micro Grant applications was April 15 at 11:59PM.
What will the Micro Grant Cover?
This grant covers materials, consumables, fixed assets and operational costs that are necessary for an activity, performance or gathering. This can include costs associated with food and beverage, gifts, items needed for activities, and costumes and props needed for performances.
What will the Micro Grant NOT Cover?
These grants will not cover labour expenses, transport, fuel, tickets to the event, personal outfits, alcohol, or any illegal substances in Alberta.
Who is eligible?
Any individual or established group may apply. For teams and groups, please have only one person submit an application for the group. The applicant(s) must attend Freezer Burn and must deliver the activity, performance, or gathering associated with the grant if selected, or the grant is void and any advance money paid by Freezer Burn will be recouped.
How will grants be paid?
Successful applicants will receive an expense form with their acceptance email. After Freezer Burn, applicants need to submit copies of their receipts and the expense form to the ARTery Financial Coordinator for reimbursement. Grants will be paid out in full after submission of all art project receipts.
A failure to execute your proposed art project, bring it to Freezer Burn, or submit your receipts and expense report will result in the ARTery withholding your grant money and can impact your eligibility for future grants.
